GAP REEL PLANS
These plans detail the construction of an underwater scuba diving gap reel. This diving reel is made from a solid aluminum block, the spindle is made from either PVC plastic, acrylic, or ABS. It uses stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers to fasten all the parts. Some simple drilling and tapping is required, making this quite an easy project to complete. They are great for cave divers or wreck divers who are navigating a cave or penetrating a shipwreck.
