Kids Helicopter Ride Plans The copter revolves around a 28 foot circle at up to 15 mph and can go up, down, hover and fly around. Even if the motor is cut off, the centrifugal force keeps the copper moving and comes to a safe stop. It is very stable as a result of the counterweight and low slung seat. Construction is based on a seat which hangs on one end of a boom which is free to swing in a plane parallel to the boom, which itself pivots on the mounting post while the post turns on a vertical axis. |
